As we flip the calendar to another November, my heart aches a little bit. It is in October that this girl finds incredible energy and purpose. That does not mean it is without struggle. But in all faithfulness, The Lord continues to meet me in the struggle and whispers “Finish the Fight”. Whether it is through a historical series win in my favorite professional sport, through the beautiful smiles of over 200 participants of Think Pink 2019, or through the provision of over $20,000 in funds and supplies to be used in support of those facing a breast cancer diagnosis, I can’t help but be convicted and convinced that God had called me to this ministry because of my pinked perspective.
For this month of November, I will sit (and try to rest to some extent) in thankfulness at all the ways that October blew me away. Thank you so much to all that showed your support of Pinked Perspective this past month. As I mentioned so many people have given in monetary donation, as well as the actual pink items that go into our mastectomy and non-mastectomy kits. Over a week after our main fundraising event, I am still sorting, organizing and recording the donations. At the same time, the requests for kits to be sent to those facing a new diagnosis and treatment continue to pour in. There is plenty of fight to finish!
We had a great response to our returning and newly created Pinked gear at the event. If there is anyone that would interested in ordering anything (“Be Strong and Courageous” baseball tee, ¼ zip pullover, Cowlneck pullover, insulated vest, tank tops or t-shirts), we will be placing a bulk order within the next 2 weeks for those that are local to Anne Arundel Co. Please email us with your order at [email protected] and we will let you know how to make payment. You may also view our Pinked Perspective Sassy Shoppe below to get any of the available gear shipped directly to you at an extra shipping charge. This online shoppe will only be open until November 22, 2019!
|As far as the needs of Pinked this month, please feel free to visit our Amazon Wishlist for the items that may be shipped directly to Pinked Perspective. This seems to be providing an easy way for people to support us, and it always adds a little excitement to the day when coming home to a new Amazon package on my doorstep!|

|If you are local and would be interested in hosting a Kit Assembly, |
Donation Party or a combination of the those, we would have plenty of
opportunities in December, January and February. This is how we keep
our shelves stocked with kits ready to be shipped! I would love to get you some more info. See our photo below from a recent Kit assembly + Donation Party with God’s Garage, a local youth group from Asbury United Methodist Church.
As always, let us know if you know of anyone that would be in need of the support that Pinked Perspective provides.
Enjoy this month of giving thanks!
