Last month I mentioned a book I was reading by Anjuli Paschall called Awake. I am actally making my way through the book for second time and this morning, I read the chapter about being “Awake to Hope”. How fun to be reminded about the two messages I had been hearing for this year of 2024! I just wanted to share some of her cool thoughts about Hope since I believe it to be so appropriate for this space. “If you have the smallest amount of hope, stay awake to it…Hope moves us into the next moment. It gives strength in transitional spaces. Hope has no ending. It isn’t like a period. But more like a semicolon. It’s a pause between two ideas. It gives us a moment to breathe and then continue on. The semicolon is a way of saying the story isn’t done yet.” ~Anjuli Our mission with Pinked is that no matter what the diagnosis and treatment plan looks like, it is not a period. The story isn’t done and the semicolon gives us the strength to stay awake to what is next! Love and Prayers, Kara |

Pinked Update: The word about the support that we provide continues to spread, and for us that means our scheduled kit assemblies for this year are so needed and helpful! While we are grateful for 6 Kit assemblies that have been scheduled so far this year, it also means we have a need for supplies. Below you will find a list of some of our immediate needs for March! Our Amazon Wishlist is updated, and we are so grateful that this is one of the ways people choose to support Pinked. |
