Happy July! We had a great start to July as a family at the Beach. We got to take part in a fun 4th of July parade in the town of Bethany Beach. Felt a little like a leap back in time to a small town. I am a big fan of both of those!
With the launch of the 5 year Anniversary Celebration last Friday, we sent out a lot of information about how one can get involved. Throughout the month of July, we will be following up on the different aspects of our 5 Year Celebration. We hope it will be a time of reflection of what we went through, a time of thanksgiving for how far we have come, and an opportunity to be able to provide for others that face what we did through the ministry of Pinked Perspective. Look for some fun/some serious posts on the blog this month too!
As a recap, the following are all the ways you can get involved with our 5 Year Anniversary Celebration:
- Go to our Crowdrise Campaign (https://www.crowdrise.com/karas-5-year-breast-cancer-anniversaryfundraiser-for-pinked-perspective/fundraiser/pinked-perspective-inc) and donate now. Any amount is helpful and goes toward supplying the different items that go into Breast Cancer Kits.
- Choose 5 Friends/Family members that you can forward this info or share our FB page telling them about the impact that you feel Pinked Perspective has had and ask if they might join our fundraising efforts now and/or throughout the year.
- Donate specific items needed for kits that can be mailed to our home address which we would gladly provide upon request. Email [email protected] for more details.
- Purchase a Pink Warrior T-shirt for a loved one and let them know you are celebrating them this summer. Visit our Booster Campaign for more details.
- Join us for dinner and celebration on Thursday, July 28th, 2016 5-8 pm at Neo Pizza in the Annapolis Towne Centre 220 Harker Place, Suite 145 Annapolis, MD 21401. If you cannot make it during the celebration, Neo will donate 20% of all sales (dine-in and carryout) during their business hours that day 11am-10pm to Pinked Perspective.
